No! Pets are not allowed in the accommodation units of the Melchtal Resort. Pets are allowed in the restaurant and the general areas of the building.

IMPORTANT! Keep your ticket for the gondola lift in a safe place until the day of departure and descent. The ticket is only valid on the day of arrival and departure and cannot be replaced!

Photocopies can be made at the reception desk by a member of staff - CHF 0.40 / per copy.

There is a village store a few steps up the village (open from Monday to Saturday, 07:30 - 11:00).
You are also welcome to ask for food in the restaurant.

We have them on site. Just let us know at reception. Then we will bring everything to your room, or you can give us your laundry and use our laundry and ironing service. We will be happy to help you at reception.

Please inform a member of staff if you have any allergies or food intolerances.
We have bed linen for allergy sufferers in all our rooms. Our chef knows all about food intolerances. He is creative and is sure to have tasty alternatives.

The bus stop in the direction of Sarnen & Stöckalp is located directly in front of the Melchtal Resort.

We are happy to provide you with a baby crib in our accommodation units free of charge.

We value you as our guest at our leisure & recreation resort in Melchtal.

The following services are included in our accommodation prices:

-Overnight stay in your booked & paid accommodation unit
-Breakfast daily from 08:00 - 10:00 during your stay
-Free use of the spa area during opening hours
-Free use of the indoor pool during opening hours

All services are only available to you during your stay in a booked & paid accommodation unit.

We kindly ask you to vacate and check out of your room from 09:00 - 11:00 on the day of departure. You can check out at reception with one of our employees and hand in your room card.

Privacy policy

You can check in directly at our reception between 15:00 and 17:00 and obtain your room cards. If the overnight stays are still unpaid, you can pay for the booking directly at reception with a member of staff. You cannot check in without a paid booking! The room cards are also valid for all access to the services included in the accommodation price.

WLAN connections with the SSID “MR-GUEST” are available free of charge throughout the resort (accommodation units and public areas, restaurant, spa, indoor pool).

The Restaurant Steakhouse Zum Roten Stier welcomes its guests from Wednesday to Sunday. You can find the current opening times on the restaurant's website!
